Max on the BBC

By |January 17th, 2025|Categories: About Us|

Max has been spreading the word about his books and was even invited onto BBC Radio Manchester to be interviewed by the lovely Michelle Dignan on her afternoon show. Max had a wonderful day discussing his book and telling everyone what an amazing job he is doing donating his books to local schools in order to help children just like him. He will continue to spread the word about his books, and will be going round to different schools to read his books to the children there, and hopefully answer questions that some children may have about autism.

Along with the sales from our first book, we were extremely lucky to have backing and funding from a wonderful company called Millennium Care. They have fantastic care homes which our grandma is lucky enough to live in. They also did some amazing promotion work with Max and followed him while he donated his books to some local schools.

This is Max who is now 8 and is the eyes behind the story. Although I may have written most of the words I wouldn't have the story to write if it wasn't for this amazing little boy.   We sat down and he shared with me his feelings and emotions which wasn't easy for him. We had tears and laughs while we spoke and together we came up with 'I'm an Autism brother, what's your superpower?'   I am so proud of him and the support he offers to his sisters and I know there are many other
